the ting tings

the ting tings band is an english indie pop band. jules is the guy and katie the gurl. they both play the drums and guitar, but katie is the lead vocals. i like this band because they live up to their genre .. BAND. not boy bands or girl bands who can't play any instrument and just sings. and their duo is unique as well as their music.. so indie, so fresh and raw. urgh. smells like meat. *winks*

i first saw them on their music video, "shut up and let me go " on MTV which is played more than thrice in a day so i said, 'hey. maybe they're really that famous'. and i was right. like a boom actually, their sudden fame is. just started in May 2008, and they have already 3 music videos on MTV, a successful album and are fashion icons already.

their music is weird to first-timers. my first impression on their music video, "shut up and let me go ", was 'what are they doing?' hahahaha... *winks*

but when you indulge on thier music and not the lyrics, my impression was ' whew.. this band is real cool. got style and very unique.'

and when i saw them perform, 'that's not my name' in the MTV Liverpool Europe Awards.. i was like ' wow, i am a fan already!'

and the rest is history.

i like their song, 'traffic light' and 'be the one'.
