A blogger dreams... and big at that. I am a self-proclaimed, procrastinating, and daydreaming blogger.
You see, life has become serious now and who am I to exempt myself from being responsible when acting-like-grown-ups beckons? I don't hang out, I don't "explore" and I don't do yoga. So here. Here is my creative outlet. My friends at the boarding house and I normally watch movies, TV series, and music videos and I'm going to write about it. Here.
So dream. I dream to have a million subscribers on my blog, uhm no, make it a thousand. hahaha. I dream to be linked by professional bloggers whose blogs have high pageranks already. And what I'm saying is being linked not from the comments section you know. If I get lucky, it will materialize, but you see that's the problem. I am not lucky. I have never ever won a raffle in my life. Ever. But I am blessed, of course, we all are. Thank you very much. And I am optimistic. As what i said earlier, blogging is all about luck and much at that, but the best part is that you can get lucky if you persevere. SO there it is.
So how am I going to do it? I don't know. As you see in my right sidebar, there's a widget that says yours truly has become an expert author in ezinearticles.com. I mean I submitted my articles over a year ago. That was so long ago. My submitted articles were Twilight Book and Book Review, Google Chrome Review (when it was launched), among others. How surprised I was when I saw that the Twilight article reached 630 views. Wow! But I don't know if I'll be happy about that. You see, they say you submit articles to article websites because this helps your blog to get high pageranks, backlinks, and readers. But I didn't see it coming. Hmm, SEO, you still confuse me. LOL.
So since what I do during my free time is blogging (because I enjoy it, especially everytime I see my Technorati rank getting high, hehe, joyful), might as well, do good in blogging and get those thousand subscribers. hehe. That's what's good about blogging. You write your thoughts, you press publish, then even when you are sleeping, visitors are going to your blog. So cheers to blogging. And of course, thanks to Macky, Jojo, Janray, Sir Jerome, Nat-nat, and everyone who introduced me to blogging. I could still clearly remember how I somehow shrunk when I first heard the words squidoo, reddit, web directories, and so on.
And that was exactly May 2008 - one year and eight months. Hmmm, quite long already but it just seems like yesterday when I was still enjoying college, working my internship, staying at home with ma, pa, bro, sis and dogs, and walking around Bohol. It has been a wonderful year - 2009 - new friends, brand new career, new place, new things, and new netbook (hehe, thanks to my sissy muah). But there’s a path ahead of us that promises another great journey. So goodbye 2009 and here I come 2010!
